Season 3 Summer Conversation Series with Carly Spina We are back again this summer with our Summer Conversation Series! Our goal is to hit up as many educators as we can and share their response to a single summer question. Last year we asked all our guests a question about an external goal for education. “What’s one thing you want to change about education?” This year though we are going with a more internal and reflective question. “What is one thing you want to change about yourself to be a better educator, leader, or colleague?” On this episode, Mike sits down with EduMatch Publishing Author, Carly Spina. They chat about education, her book, Moving Beyond for Multi-Lingual Learners, and her answer to our summer conversation series question. Carly served as an English Language Learner teacher, a dual language classroom teacher, and a multi-language instructional coach in the Chicago area. She currently works for a non-profit, the Illinois Resource Center helping to serve multilingual education.
