Awe, Wonder, and Appreciation

Awe, Wonder, and Appreciation

Every day is filled with awe and wonder. However, when we experience something over and over again it loses some of its magic. This episode is a small reminder that a friend gave me to always take time to see the awe and wonder that is around you!

What's going on everybody, I hope this finds you striving and thriving and doing absolutely amazing. Now, if you ever been to Niagara Falls, and some of you may have and some of you may have not, but most of you have probably seen pictures of it. And if you've experienced it in person, you know how breathtaking it is. And when you see it for the first time, it fills you up was so much all in wonder. But what if that arm wander, disappeared? My name is Brian Martin. I'm a second grade teacher and hosted the teaching champions podcast. And a few episodes ago, I had my friend Laney roll on. And she gave this example. She said that when she got married her preset, I want you to think of Niagara Falls. And you go there. And you're just in awe. It's so wonderful. It's so beautiful. You think about how this is such an amazing vacation. Then he said, Now imagine that you lived at Niagara Falls, you stop with the wonder, you stop with the awe. You stop seeing how beautiful it is, because you get used to it. The priest then looked at her and he said, You're gonna be living at Niagara Falls. Never forget how beautiful it is. And this holiday season is here. And with all the joy that comes with it, there's a lot of hustle and bustle and there's stress. There's moments of frustration, all those wonderful emotions. And however you choose to celebrate it, and with whom ever you choose to celebrate it. If there comes a point where you may have noticed that you've slid into the craziness in the madness, that there's some negative feelings that are coming about. Take a moment and pause, step back. See the special things that are happening all around you. And appreciate all those amazing things. Because you may just be living at Niagara Falls, and you just stopped seeing all that arm wander. So step back, see it, feel it. Appreciate those amazing things that we do have today. May you have an amazing Thanksgiving and always remember, you've been blessed with another sunrise. Have an awesome day
