Mid Week Pick Me Up: See Your Strength

Mid Week Pick Me Up: See Your Strength

You are strong, but sometimes you don't always see it. This episode dives into seeing your strength and reminding yourself of how strong you truly are.

What's going on everybody, I hope this finds you striving and thriving and doing absolutely amazing. My name is Brian Martin. I'm a second grade teacher, and host of the teaching champions podcast. I was talking to a friend the other day, and they were telling me about something that they need to have done. And they were saying it as if it was no problem. They were appearing, completely unfazed. And I listened. And in my mind, I was blown away by how strong they are. It's amazing to me, in this person's mental a lot, there's been a lot of ups and downs, a lot of tough moments, they've had to overcome fear. They've had to wipe away a lot of tears. But they've always kept moving forward. And because it hasn't always been easy, they don't always recognize how courageous and how strong they've been. And sometimes, we see strength as facing every problem, as if it was no big deal. As if we should laugh away problems, or handle obstacles, as if we're completely unfazed. And that's not reality, though. Sometimes true strength is just getting to the next moment, to strength. Sometimes it's just slowly putting one foot in front of the other. And often you don't even realize how strong you are. I look at my friend, I look at those around me, I look at my colleagues, I look at my students. I can walk down my hallway at school, and I can stop in every single classroom. In every person that I come across. They have a story of courage, a story of strength, a story of perseverance. And just like my friend, they don't always see it though. You need to remind yourself of what you've overcome. You need to remind yourself and how on the darkest of days, no matter how messy it was, it was you who came out on the other side. You are strong, you are brave, you are courageous. And a few things that we need to remember. Number one, everybody has. Everybody has their own battles, adults and kids alike. So lead with empathy, lead with grace, and remind others of how strong they are. Number two, your lawyer while you're reminding others of how strong they are, make sure that you take the time to remind yourself of how strong you are. And number three, being a lawyer being strong. It doesn't mean you have to do it alone. true strength is recognizing when you need to reach out a hand and ask for some help. That showing strength. Just wanted to drop that little reminder for you today. See your strength. See your courage. See your perseverance. We've been blessed with another sunrise, my friends. Have an awesome day.
