I met Jeermal Sylvester visiting my step mother at the JAG (http://www.jag.org) office back in 2011, JAG helps build a school to work exposure program that teaches 37 learning competencies based on employer needs. College is great but it’s not for everybody, sure 70% of high school graduates go to college, but how long does it last? And is it the right move? Unfortunately we tend to empathize to a point where we encourage our scholar’s not to put in the effort to be great.
