We have shows and movies that are highlighting mental health, suicidality, and depression in ways that can be both helpful and hurtful. 1 in 5 children has a diagnosable behavior or emotional health disorder. 1 in 10 have a mental illness that don’t receive service but are struggling to succeed in the classroom. Janet Ferrone has been working with students who have Mental Illness and severe behavior problems for over 35 years in the Boston Area. She has traveled the world and started programs advocating for student voice.
