Brag Tags, Herd Mentality, and the Power of Connection with Kim Gameroz

Brag Tags, Herd Mentality, and the Power of Connection with Kim Gameroz

What does it really take to create a school community where both teachers and students thrive? In this energizing episode of The Language of Behavior, co-hosts Charle Peck and Joshua Stamper sit down with educator, author, and edupreneur Kim Gameroz to unpack the power of belonging, intentional SEL, and celebrating the small wins that make a big difference.

From her days as a high school dance coach to leading nationwide movements like Celebrate Good Times and Teaching Inside Out, Kim shares how she’s helping educators reclaim joy and build strong, compassionate communities in their classrooms and schools.

Together, they dive into:

  • How “herd mentality” can be a healthy force—leaning into challenges and finding strength in community.
  • Simple, practical strategies like Brag Tags that can immediately transform classroom culture.
  • The importance of student voice, including a moving story from a neurodivergent learner who reshaped Kim’s perspective.
  • Why consistent systems, shared language, and compassion-based leadership matter more than ever.
  • Highlights from the Vibe EDU Unconference, where vulnerability and passion spark real change.

And in a fun twist, the Behind the Banter segment reveals how Kim, Charle, and Josh each “treat themselves” when they need a little recharge.

If you’re ready for fresh strategies, heartfelt stories, and a reminder that joy still belongs in education, this is an episode you won’t want to miss.
