Amazing!
I love hearing from the researchers! I also love the rapid fire questions at the end. Well done! Can’t wait to hear more!!
Excellent podcast
They found some of the best people to interview.
Love this podcast
This is so great for my endeavors to really help my fellow co-workers learn about the science of reading and adopt some new practices to help our readers. Thanks for always sharing such good information and keeping me motivated to fight the good fight.
Reading Interventions
Love love these interviews!! I teach and train teachers to support students with dyslexia. These podcasts are included in my trainings to our teachers. I come here for inspiration and more resources. As an educator I would love to see the Nebraska Dyslexia Association highlighted or a representative interviewed to promote advocacy here. Thank you! Ms.Schutte Teacher
I love this podcast!
I am an Orton-Gillingham Fellow who trains teachers and works in public schools. I love Laura’s warm interview style, and I always learn something new from these wonderful episodes. Every teacher, school leader, parent, and policy maker who cares about bringing the science of reading to all children will enjoy this podcast. My all-time favorite interview is with Dr. Shawn Anthony Robinson. Thank you, Laura!
Focus
Focus more on brain science and peer reviewed research, less on life stories if you want to impact the profession
Excellent podcast about teaching reading
High quality guests, excellent host, and exceptional content. Thank you for demystifying the learning to read process.
Love the Research-Very Phonics Biased-
As educators, we need more people speaking and sharing information across the profession. This podcast has great guests who are published and have vast experiences in the field. My 3 rating comes from the disappointment in the lack of concrete skills and techniques needed to better teach reading using these research based methods!
Nice interviews
Thanks for the excellent guest list. David Kilpatrick gave me the tools to teach a particular child read fluently. God bless him!

I learned so much...Thank you!
Excellent!
This is exactly what I’ve been waiting for! I’ve been teaching elementary for over 20 years and ever since I first heard about the science of reading I haven’t been able to learn enough about it- I failed too many students for far too long. Thank you so much for such a high quality yet easy to understand podcast!
Wow! Wow! Wow!
This is awesome-sauce! Thank you for providing so many avenues to pour into us as teachers and parents! The very first podcast is with Dr. Louisa Moats! I was introduced to LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading & Spelling) by Dr. Moats in 2012, and I’ve been soaking up the “science of reading” ever since! Going through this training opened my eyes to a whole new world of reading instruction. Dr. Moats, THANK YOU for pioneering through all the ups and downs for all of us! Truly, your work paved a whole new way for us to follow step-by-step! TRL, THANK YOU for providing this podcast! I am on the edge of my seat to see who’s next!
