Elijah Carbajal is a teacher who followed in the footsteps of teachers in his family. He has served as an educator in the state of New Mexico since 2014. He is passionate about supporting students and teachers and has fulfilled this purpose through different roles. Elijah has experience as an elementary classroom teacher and a Title I reading interventionist, and he is currently an MLSS/MTSS Resource Teacher in his local school district. Along with being the host of The Shut Up and Teach Podcast, he is the author of the book A Place They Love. Elijah loves to spend time with his wife, Tracey, and his cat, Nala.
