A Short Break, What's Coming Next
Ryan Read: Well, hello everybody, and welcome to the Pixel Classroom Podcast. I am your host, Ryan Reid. So I wanted to get up here too. If people notice, I had no episode these past week and a half here. I had a couple of guests I had to do rescheduling, and then we had some other things that happened that just got too busy. but I also had some other things happen recently here that I've got to take a pause for a couple of weeks. kind of busy right now doing my community theater show. I've also got some things personally going on right now that I have to be a part of right now too. So that's slows some things down. I am planning to do my normal history of music here for November. I actually got a fun song actually planned on here. I didn't think I was going to get to and actually I'm going to getting to it here next week actually believe it or not. I have a nice little night coming up next week. I actually have time to record this. So I'm going to do that. and then that'll probably pop up because this is being recorded November 1st of all place that it is, you know November. It's epilepsy awareness month here. I'll be talking a little bit about that on an actual episode coming up pretty soon here. It won't be very long here, but I'll be talking about that too. But I just want to get a message out for some people that are wondering what has been going on and why I took a weird little pause here. It's just I had just too much going on and schedules were not clicking. I wasn't have time because I like doing my little personal reflections as well as you know, what am I working on in the classroom? But I've just I have to take a couple weeks off. I just do not have the time to do any guests right now. And I have some other things coming down the pipe personally that I would like to be there for my friends who are going through these times right now. So that's kind of what I'm doing. But I do want to thank everybody that's been asking and supporting the channel here and got some other things changed too. And you know, it's funny, I just got started doing the higher end version over here of Riverside, which I record on now and do all my editings for my reviews on my comic channel as well as this. And I have to take a pause of course because I just paid the month's bill and then here I am. I'm only gonna be doing some small ones too. over on my comics review and collections channel, I will actually am going to be reviewing next weekend a Star Trek set here. as we know, the recording of this Patrick Stewart and Walter Cronin. checkoff and Captain Picard, Admiral Picard have most recently passed away, unfortunately. Very sad. It definitely hit me hard, especially those people. in the years and what they meant to us in growing up as well as in our lives here, not just for pop culture but society. And definitely definitely hit hard losing those two people in in the world. So definitely thoughts on prayers and messages to their families and friends of going out to you know you know boldly go wherever goes before. So but yeah I am just gonna be taking a time off here for the next couple weeks there's still like said there's a history of music episode coming up here. I'm gonna do an epilepsy awareness that's getting recorded This Friday, which I'll throw out on the channel next week sometime in the history of music, I'm hoping to get out just before Thanksgiving. And then of course, I'm on break anyhow. So then I'll be off on that. I'm hoping to have one of my guests come up to kick us off for December and another one for late December. And then I'm just gonna do my normal end of the year review. So not quite what I had planned, but life happens, things happen. some people check and follow my collections channel. They remu recently reviewed. I Did not do my usual collections review pieces and I had to do something because I really wanted to get the review out in time and luckily I was able to do a small little recording on it. So I thank everybody for understanding that. But I just unfortunately just some things happened and I I just need to step away for a couple weeks just to get some things reorganized and so forth. So thank you for supporting the channel. I was hoping to hit that 400 subscribers here for the YouTube channel. I do not see that happening for twenty twenty six, maybe for twenty twenty seven, right? but thank you everybody for some more scump some easy and I'll think and talk to everybody soon. Bye.
