In episode 57, I interviewed Dr. Maureen O’Shaughnessy (@microschoolcoal), author of the new book “Creating Micro-Schools for Colorful Mismatched Kids.” Maureen has an extensive understanding of the components needed to transform the education system. She is the founding director of Leadership Preparatory Academy, a nonprofit progressive micro-school in Washington State. We discussed how she has transformed education by opening micro schools out of frustration over the failures of traditional public schools.
